Four full days out and two transfers, all with a car and driver. The price is per vehicle and the driver stays with the car while you walk, eat and take photographs — so you set the pace, not a coach timetable.

Do the Li River cruise. It is the reason the region is famous, it fills most of a day without exhausting you, and the driving is minimal compared with Longji.
Add Longji. It is the only major sight here that is not limestone scenery, which makes it a genuine contrast rather than more of the same. Accept that it involves five hours in the car, most of it on a mountain road.
The city tour. Three sights, short drives between them, and the option to finish at the Four Lakes in the evening. The gentlest day we run, and the best one for older travellers or young children.
Bajiao Zhai — red Danxia sandstone instead of green karst, with a ridge walk and a view into Hunan. Strenuous, and an early start, but nothing else in the area looks like it.
A day is eight or nine hours door to door, from your hotel back to your hotel. That is service time, not driving time — the driver waits at each stop, so the hours you spend walking are included in the price rather than charged on top.
The driver does not accompany you inside attractions. He gets you to the gate, explains what you are looking at, tells you where he will be, and waits. If you want a guide who walks with you, we can arrange one — ask when you request a quote.
Send your dates and route. We confirm the vehicle, the driver and a fixed price — usually within 2 hours.
