Every quote we send is a fixed amount for the vehicle and driver. There is no meter running and no charge for waiting in traffic. The only things that ever cost extra are the ones listed below — and you will always see them before you book.
A couple booking a 5-seat sedan pays the same as a solo traveller. If you are four people, the 7-seat MPV costs more than the sedan but it is still one vehicle price — not four tickets.
On a Longji or Li River day trip the driver stays with the vehicle while you walk, cruise or eat. The eight hours in the table is door-to-door service time, not driving time — you are not paying extra for the hours you spend on foot.
There is no separate "multi-day discount". A three-day tour costs the same as the three equivalent single days added together — what you gain is the same driver throughout, no re-briefing, and no wasted hotel-to-hotel transfers between legs. Our itineraries show the arithmetic for each one.
Everything else is inside the price. These three are not, and each has a published rate so there is nothing to negotiate at the end of the day:

Chinese New Year, the first week of May and the first week of October are the three busiest travel weeks in China. Hotels, drivers and tickets all cost more then, and our rates reflect it. Everything outside those weeks is the price shown above.
Fixed price confirmed in writing before you travel. A deposit holds the vehicle; the balance is paid at the end of the service.
