What we actually do

Private car service with a driver, for visitors to Guilin, Yangshuo and Longsheng. Airport transfers, day trips, multi-day itineraries, and the plain business of getting from one place to another without negotiating a fare at the kerb.

That is the whole business. We do not sell flights, we do not run hotels, and we do not resell other operators' tours. When you book a car from us, the car and the driver are ours.

How it started

The company began in 2005, when Guilin was receiving a small but growing number of independent English-speaking travellers and almost no one was set up to serve them. Foreign guests were being quoted one price at the hotel desk and a different one in the car. We built the business on the opposite principle: quote a fixed figure in writing before the trip, and charge exactly that.

Two decades later the fleet has changed and the website is on its fourth rebuild, but that principle has not.

How we work

• One price, in writing. Confirmed by email or WhatsApp before you travel. Fuel, tolls and parking are inside it. Nothing is added on the day.
• Our own drivers. Professional passenger licence, driving these routes regularly. Not subcontractors picked up on the day.
• Honest about English. Fluency varies. We assign the strongest English speakers to guests who ask, and tell you in advance what to expect rather than letting you discover it at the airport.
• One point of contact. The same office handles your booking from enquiry to the day itself, and answers the phone if something goes wrong.

Guests from more than twenty countries, mostly independent travellers and families rather than package groups. Australians, British, Canadians, Germans, Americans, Dutch, Singaporeans and Malaysians make up most of the bookings; the reviews page has a sample in their own words.
