☽ YangshuoThe classic Yangshuo day: cycle from West Street through Aishan village and the rice paddies, hike up Moon Hill for the karst panorama, then bamboo raft the Yulong River in the afternoon. The driver shadows you with the car so you can bail out if it rains.
☽ YangshuoNorth to Longsheng and up to the terraces at Ping'an or Dazhai. Two to three hours walking while the driver waits, lunch in the village, then on to Guilin or an overnight at the terraces.
☽ Guilin or LongjiIf you have the appetite for it, Sanjiang's Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge is 140 km north — the drive and the village fill the day. Otherwise a free morning in Guilin and the departure transfer. Tell us which when you book; it changes the timing substantially.
